  • Beloved bad boy Mac DeMarco shares "another one" from his upcoming EP titled Another One. (See what I did there?) Stream the track "I've Been Waiting for Her" below. The new EP hits the streets August 7th via Captured Tracks, and Mac and band hit The Moore Theatre in Seattle on Thursday, October 29th. [Pitchfork]

  • Portland fave Jackson Boone shares a new track today, too: stream the single "Moonbeam" below, which will appear on his forthcoming full-length Natural Changes. For his sophomore release, he's joined by Unknown Mortal Orchestra’s Riley Geare, Radiation City bassist Randy Bemrose, and violinist Patti King. Natural Changes comes out on September 11th.   • More new music from upcoming releases: Montreal band The Dears return with a new album, Times Infinity Volume One, on September 25th via Dangerbird. Frontman Murray Lightburn says he thought about ending the band after their last album, 2011's Degeneration Street. "When you start a band, you never think of the end. When we began work on this album, it was a process that consumed us completely, harkening back to our earliest days. In turn, the record became about sentimentality but in the face of great uncertainty; the concept of eternal love and all its fragility."
