It's been four long years, but folk-rock band Beirut will return with their fourth album, titled No No No, on September 11th via 4AD. Founding member and frontman Zach Condon reveals in a press release that the past years of touring and a messy divorce resulted in his hospitalization in Australia in late 2013. Feeling rested and rejuvenated, he and bandmates Paul Collins and Nick Petree spent the snowy weeks of late 2014 writing this new release. Check out the title track below. North American tour dates have also been announced, including a Tuesday, October 13th stop at The Paramount. [Consequence of Sound]

Seattle's own Hibou (a.k.a. Peter Michel) will release his debut full-length this fall on local label, Barsuk. The former Craft Spells drummer continues the dreamy sound of his old band, as you can hear on the track "Dissolve" below. The self-titled album hits stores on September 18th, but get an early earful of new songs when the band plays Barboza on Friday, August 21st. [Stereogum]

Frontwoman Alanna McArdle has announced she's leaving Welsh band Joanna Gruesome. On Facebook, she writes "Lately, my mental health problems have become a lot worse and I've gone through a pretty shitty time. I've realised I need to actually take some time out to focus on some kind of 'recovery', so I won't be singing in Joanna Gruesome anymore," adding, "I am really proud of everything I've done with the band, especially Peanut Butter, and I think we've made some really great records." McArdle will be replaced by two new vocalists: Kate Stonestreet of Glasgow band Pennycress, and Roxy Brennan of Two White Cranes, Grubs, and more. The new line-up will stop by The Vera Project on Saturday, November 14th. [Pitchfork]

UK shoegazers Swervedriver released their triumphant reunion album I Wasn't Born to Lose You earlier this year, their first full-length together in 17 years. Today, they share the video for the track "I Wonder?," sharing footage from the road as they toured in support of the release. Watch the clip below, and watch their KEXP in-studio session here.
