Fire up your Winnebagos and ready your best port-a-potty stance because it’s that time of the year again kids... give it up for Sasquatch!

For those of you making the voyage out to the Gorge, we here at KEXP wish you an enjoyable and safe weekend. May the skies be clear, blue, and hail-free for your Sasquatch adventuring. We know as fact that the good folks who organize the festival have jam packed this extended weekend with music goodness galore, so enjoy!

If you’re trying to figure out which artists to catch over the next few days, or you need inspiration for your Sasquatch themed mixtapes, let us present a few suggestions to consider. Most, if not all of the artists on the 2015 Sasquatch roster get a lot of love on the KEXP airwaves. Being as such, many folks featured within this year’s lineup have been gracious enough to perform for KEXP at one time or another, so we feel pretty confident in recommending that people catch as many of the artists as you can during these next four days. The following is by no means a definitive list, but we feel quite confident that these particular artists won’t disappoint with their live performances. In fact, we have video to prove it.

Spoon - Knock Knock Knock

Hands down Spoon are one of the very best live acts to catch right now. Witness for yourself on Saturday night on the Bigfoot Stage.

Temples - Mesmerise (LIVE on KEXP)

If ever there is a time to partake in a special brownie, Temples’ performance is probably the time you’ll want to indulge.

Josh Tillman, a.k.a. Father John Misty, has released an album that will definitely make it onto people’s top albums of 2015 list when the year wraps up. Check out this footage of him performing the title song to the album when he performed for the fifth installment of our Little Big Shows.

The New Pornographers - Brill Bruisers (LIVE on KEXP)

The New Pornographers boast a cast of individuals who are all unbelievably talented and prolific musicians within their solo and various other musical projects, but bring them all together and it’s always on point. You can never go wrong with a live set from The New Pornographers.

War on Drugs - Red Eyes (LIVE on KEXP)

Lost in a Dream by War on Drugs was voted top album of 2014 by KEXP listeners. See why on the Sasquatch stage tomorrow evening.

Little Dragon - Killing Me (LIVE on KEXP)

Yukimi Nagano of Little Dragon has one of the most truly unique voices you’ll ever hear. Experience it live on the Bigfoot Stage tonight.

Courtney Barnett - Pedestrian at Best (LIVE at KEXP)

You may not have the pleasure of seeing Courtney Barnett dressed like Freddy Krueger when she hits the Sasquatch stage on Monday afternoon, but we’re pretty sure you won’t regret catching her performance.

Diarrhea Planet- Lite Dream (LIVE on KEXP)

Don’t let the name scare you, although this young Nashville band is so ridiculously amazing live, you may very well need a change of pants afterwards. Seriously though don’t miss them.

Perfume Genius - Queen (LIVE on KEXP)

Seattle’s very own Mike Hadreas, who performs as Perfume Genius, will grace the El Chupacabra stage on Saturday night. Hadreas took things to a whole other level on his 2014 effort, Too Bright by filling out his heartbreakingly intimate songwriting and sound with even more instrumentation than his previous albums. Make sure to see the results live.

Future Islands - Back In The Tall Grass (LIVE on KEXP)

Future Islands’ frontman Sam Herring gives everything he has when he performs live. Believe any and all hype.

Shovels & Rope - Hail Hail (LIVE on KEXP)

Shovels & Rope and KEXP go way back now. For two people, they make a whole lot of lovely ruckus and they have a great time doing it.

Jungle - Time (LIVE on KEXP)

Holy hell, the self titled album from Jungle is good, but seeing them live is a whole other world of good.

Strand of Oaks - Shut In (LIVE on KEXP)

Tim Showalter is one of the nicest and sincere people in the music business today. That being said, he and his band will melt your faces off with rock, but in a nice way.

Shakey Graves - Dearly Departed (LIVE on KEXP)

See Alejandro Rose-Garcia, a.k.a. Shakey Graves, Sunday afternoon on the Sasquatch stage. It’s beyond entertaining to see him keep a rhythm with his homemade kick drum made of a suitcase. And if you enjoy that, you’ll also have a chance to hang and bowl with Alejandro next Thursday. Find out more on how you can bowl with Shakey Graves here.

Sylvan Esso - Coffee (LIVE on KEXP)

These two have a great time when they are on stage, which makes it fun as a spectator to watch. See them Saturday evening on the Bigfoot Stage.

Benjamin Booker - Violent Shiver (LIVE on KEXP)

I heard through the grapevine that the last time Benjamin Booker played in Seattle, many a shots were consumed leading to an array of antics on stage and within the audience. It’s the stuff that legends are made of. This means that anything is possible during their performance at the Sasquatch stage on Saturday afternoon. Don’t miss out.

Tame Impala - ‘Cause I’m a Man

Tame Impala stopped by KEXP back in April 2011, but we need to share the brand new video the just unleashed on the web yesterday.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hefh9dFnChY

Robert Plant - Rainbow

Robert Plant hasn’t stopped by KEXP... yet, but go see him because it’s Robert Plant. If anyone has a contact for him, have them get in touch with Cheryl...

As well, comedy relief will be provided by a gaggle of comedians throughout the weekend, so be ready to get your giggle on too. Sasquatch!
