  • As we reported last month, crowd-surfer extraordinaire Mac DeMarco will release a new EP this fall titled (appropriately) Another One. Today, he shares the mini-album's first track "The Way You'd Love Her," which you can stream below. DeMarco also announced more tour dates, including a Thursday, October 29th stop at The Moore Theatre. Another One hits stores August 7th via Captured Tracks. Watch his most recent KEXP in-studio session here. [Spin]

  • Courtney Barnett introduces us to a not-quite-fantastic Mr. Fox today with her video for the single "Dead Fox." Directors Rory Kerr and Paul Ruttledg animated the clip, explaining, "We liked how politically loaded and conversational the lyrics are. We wanted the animation to have a stylistic and organic look, hence most of the drawings were done on paper rather than digitally. To further compliment the lyrics, we thought it would be funny to have the animals in the video look as cynical as possible, as if they’d had enough with how humans are treating them." Watch below, and watch Courtney's Halloween session at KEXP here. [Consequence of Sound]

  • Electronic producer Nicolas Jaar wow'ed many KEXP DJs with his 2011 debut Space Is Only Noise, and today he returns with the 15-minute-long two-track EP Nymphs II, which you can stream below. Don't think he's been slacking though: Jaar teamed up with Dave Harrington for the project DARKSIDE in 2013. Watch their KEXP in-studio session here. [DIY Magazine]

  • Last Friday, none other than My Morning Jacket stopped by the afternoon talk show Ellen to perform tracks from their latest release, Waterfall. Watch their excellent performance of the single "Big Decisions" below. Keep track of all the television musical highlights with KEXP's TV Eye column. MMJ are playing two nights in Seattle, Friday, October 2nd and Saturday, October 3rd, at The Moore Theatre. [Under the Radar]
