  • In case you missed its KEXP premiere yesterday, Northwest faves Built to Spill shared a new track from their upcoming eighth album, Untethered Moon. Stream the track "Living Zoo" below. Untethered Moon hits stores on April 21st via Warner Bros., and will enjoy an early vinyl release on April 18th for Record Store Day. It'll be the band's first full-length since 2009's There Is No Enemy. No Seattle show dates (yet), but you can catch them on Friday, March 27th at the Treefort Music Festival in Boise, Idaho. • Speaking of beardy fellas with new music, My Morning Jacket have shared the title track from the forthcoming seventh studio album, Big Decisions. It'll be the band's first release since 2011’s Circuital, and the first of two new albums planned for this year. No release date yet, but stay tuned for more details! [Stereogum]

  • L.A. ladies Warpaint have also shared a new song today: stream the single "No Way Out (Redux)" below. The band say the non-album track is the "first in a series of new songs being released this year." [Pitchfork]

  • Earlier this week, local artist Ben Gibbard headed down to San Francisco to kick off the annual Noise Pop Fest. Due to a broken hand, Gibbard recruited Sun Kil Moon’s Mark Kozelek to support him on stage, and together, they tore through a set of Death Cab hits, and a Postal Service favorite. Watch them perform "Such Great Heights" below. Sending get well wishes to Gibbard who will be hitting the KEXP studios this Friday, February 28th at midnight PST for a special curated mix for KEXP's new show, Midnight in a Perfect World.
