  • Texas guitar great Leon Bridges has contributed a track to the upcoming Will Smith film, Concussion, a biographical thriller based on the life of Bennet Omalu, a forensic pathologist who took on the National Football League. For the soundtrack, Bridges contributes the soulful, dramatic single "So Long," which you can stream below. Concussion hits theaters on Christmas Day. [Spin]

  • Chvrches have shared an amazing video for their Every Open Eye track "Empty Threat." The video follows a group of teenage goths as they get drunk and navigate their way through a crowded waterpark. It looks like a blast. [Stereogum]

  • Yesterday, M.I.A. took to Instagram to announce a new song, saying it was "TBA." Well today, the track called "Borders" is available via Spotify. There's still no official release date for her upcoming album Matahdatah. [Pitchfork]

  • It's been a few years since Explosions In The Sky's last album, 2011's Take Care, Take Care, Take Care, but the band announced this week via social media that they're coming "out of hibernation." Along with some 2016 UK tour dates, they've shared this teaser clip featuring new songs. Sounding good so far, guys! Album title and release date to be announced soon. [Stereogum]
