KEXP is proud to sponsor the second annual Bartfest, this weekend, Friday, October 9th through Saturday, October 10th, in Spokane, Washington. Spearheaded by all-ages venue The Bartlett, partnering with their neighbors at Nyne Bar, the eastern Washington city will host 18 bands across the venues.
A pre-party/poster show kicks things off tonight, Thursday, October 8th, at The Bartlett. Attendees can come pick up their wristbands, take in an exhibit of local designers, and enjoy live music from local bands Vacationer and Great Good Fine Ok.Headlining the festival itself is Missouri-born, Chicago-based singer/songwriter Angel Olsen, whose most recent album, Burn Your Fire For No Witness, came out last year on Jagjaguwar. Joining her on the bill are Portland band Horse Feathers, Seattle's own Deep Sea Diver, and many more from across the Northwest.
