Just in time for Halloween, KEXP is thrilled to debut the video for Say Hi's "Transylvania (Torrents Of Rain, Yeah)," a track off his latest full-length, Bleeders Digest, out now on Barsuk Records.
The fantastically-fun clip shows just why the ladies (and gents) find frontman Eric Elbogen so irresistible: a funky bassline and disco beat provide the soundtrack to the story of this vampy vampire. As we mentioned in our full-length review of the new album (here), "It’s all pulpy, riveting, and incredibly lovable stuff that could come from none other than Say Hi." But, beware: as Eric tells us himself, "all the vampire swagger in the world won't save you from the wrath of Charles The Dog." Watch and find out:
