  • The prolific Ty Segall is at it again: today he shares the song "Mr. Face," the title track from a new EP out January 13th via Famous Class. The release is being billed as "the world's first playable pair of 3D glasses," but with no further details, this could just be beautiful drunk talk. Stream the track below: [Pitchfork]

  • After recent reunions from UK shoegaze bands Slowdive and Ride, Oxford band Swervedriver throw their shoes into the ring. Stream the track "Deep Wound" below, a sneak peek at their upcoming full-length I Wasn’t Born To Lose You. It'll be the band's first new album since the 1998 release 99th Dream. Swervedriver stop by Neumos on Sunday, March 8th. [Stereogum]

  • Scottish pop legends Belle & Sebastian share another new track from their upcoming release, Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance. Check out "The Cat With the Cream" below. Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance hits stores January 20th on Matador. [Under the Radar]

  • Late Night TV guru David Letterman continues to wind down his reign with amazing musical performances, including last night's appearance by Parquet Courts. Watch the beloved Brooklyn band perform "Bodies Made Of" below. Afterwards, Letterman quips, "Paul and I talked it over, and we would like to manage the band!"
