  • The Shins have shared a new song "So Now What," their contribution to the soundtrack for Zach Braff's upcoming film Wish I Was Here. The Wish I Was Here soundtrack, which also features new music from Bon Iver and Coldplay, releases on July 15. [Stereogum]

  • Kevin Shields of My Bloody Valentine reports the band are preparing to record an EP this fall. • Minnesota rap group Atmosphere stopped by Conan last night to promote their new album Southsiders. They delivered an entertaining performance of their hilariously titled track "Kanye West." [CoS]

  • For his new track "Every Square Inch" Canadian producer Ryan Hemsworth collaborated with 19-year-old Japanese producer Qrion. Even without lyrics, it's a fun, romantic song. [CMJ]
