French website La Blogothèque has filmed a live acoustic set of Real Estate. The band played a few tracks from their last album Atlas as well as a cover of Weezer's "Say It Ain't So" (listen at the 17-minute mark). The half-hour session is available to watch in full below. [Pitchfork]

Nick Zammuto, formerly of duo The Books, is back with this second solo album. Zammuto's 2012 self-titled debut was well received, and judging by this first taste of the upcoming album Anchor. "Great Equator" is a complex stunner of a lead single. Fun fact: The unique rhythm of "Great Equator" was achieved by scratching patterns into the vinyl. [Stereogum]

Islands have kicked off a new tour in support of their 2013 album Ski Mask. Unfortunately, they won't be making their way to Seattle any time soon. In order to ease the pain, they've shared a brand new song called "Aloe Hills Are Blooming." [CoS]

Queen of the Stone Age frontman, Josh Homme delivered an awesome solo performance at London's Meltdown Festival last night. Homme debuted a sprawling seven-minute song called "Victims of Circumstance." IF you didn't happen to be in London last night, not to worry.
