  • The forthcoming Conor Oberst solo album, Upside Down Mountain, is streaming in its entirety today on NPR Music. The release features guest vocals from his pals First Aid Kit, and was recorded with producer Jonathan Wilson. Upside Down Mountain comes out May 20th through Nonesuch Records, and as we mentioned last week, Conor will bring it to The Showbox on September 30th. [NPR.org]

  • Jack White just loves his record press! After setting the record for "World’s Fastest Released Record" on Record Store Day (can I use the word "record" one more time?), tonight, he teams up with Neil Young to make history on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon by performing and pressing the track to vinyl after one take. Set the DVR! [Pitchfork]
  • He's actually not a "bad man" at all (just watch his charming KEXP in-studio session from 2012), but Bonnie “Prince” Billy (aka Will Oldham) shares a video today for his track of that name. Dutch director Claudia Crobatia features Oldham, front and center, while a dog takes a walk wearing a creepy mask. Check it all out below: [Stereogum]

  • From the streets of Oldham's video to the sky for Mogwai: the Scottish post-rock band have shared a video for the track "Simon Ferocious" from their Sub Pop release, Rave Tapes. Watch two skydivers plummet to earth to this beautiful track, and catch the band on May 23rd at Sasquatch. [Pitchfork]

  • tUnE-yArDs brought their spirited live energy to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Friday night, and even The Roots had to jump in on the fun. Watch them team up on the track "Water Fountain" from Nikki Nack, and tune in to KEXP on Saturday, May 24th to hear what happens during her LIVE in-studio session! [Consequence of Sound]

  • Another woman known for her energetic live performances announced her North American tour today: Lily Allen will bring her latest album, Sheezus, to the Paramount Theater on October 4th. [Under the Radar]
