KEXP is thrilled to co-present the first-ever Fisherman's Village Music Festival!
Join us on May 16th and 17th in the beautiful city of Everett for one of the largest music festivals in Snohomish County. Together with the Everett Music Initiative, we'll present over 60 bands on four stages, including the Historic Everett Theatre, the oldest running theater on the west coast.
The Everett Music Initiative was formed in 2012 by music fans R.C. Crowther and Steven Graham, who wanted to cultivate the local scene in their town. In an interview with the Seattle Weekly, Crowther explained, “We noticed that Everett does not get the touring musicians. There really is no local community for local bands, no way for local bands to get out and break into other cities.”
The Fisherman's Village Music Festival seems like a sure-fire way for this sleepy fishing town to breakout -- the line-up includes KEXP favorites like The Moondoggies, LA LUZ, Rose Windows, The Grizzled Mighty, Gardens & Villa, Benjamin Verdoes, LAKE, Shelby Earl, Fly Moon Royalty, The Maldives, Vox Mod, and many more.
Passes are on sale now. More information at thefishermansvillage.com.
