Start the day of roses and thorns with John in the Morning's annual Valentine’s Day show, "Songs of Love and Hate," from 6:00 to 10:00 AM. On the Midday Show, DJ Cheryl Waters will show her love for her listeners by playing all requests from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Cheryl says, "The requests need not be about love, or hate, or hearts. Love comes in the form of all requests. Now, if that's not love, I don't know what is." And then from 2:00 to 6:00 PM, cupid Kevin Cole will "heart" his listeners by playing nothing but songs with the word "heart" in it... can he do it? Tune in to find out!
And here on the KEXP Blog, we're showing our love for you with this video roundup -- a virtual Valentine's Day box stuffed with cards and candy. Enjoy this compilation of love, lust, and loss chosen from the listener-voted Top Albums of 2013, featuring artists who have performed right here in our very own studios.
