  • Daft Punk are shamelessly promoting the release of their upcoming record Random Access Memories in this futuristic, sci-fi teaser. The video, aptly titled "Random Access Memories Unboxed," features robotic entities unwrapping the new album and playing it on their conveniently old-school record player. Take a look, you'll even hear the first few seconds of their song "Give Life Back To Music." [Pitchfork]

  • After over twenty years of silence, Black Flag has been releasing new material at rapid speed. Today they shared their second new song in less than two weeks. "The Chase" is a classic hardcore rock music at its finest. The band's North American tour will bring them to Seattle on July 19 at El Corazon (Get tickets HERE). [CoS]
    • Dirty Projectors have produced three remixes of their hit song "The Socialites." British pop duo AlunaGeorge have contributed to a version that is full of synthesized sirens and crazy warped vocals. It adds a bit of sparkle to an already killer track. [CoS]
    • Young Galaxy creates some of the most ecclectic music videos I've ever seen. Their newest venture for the single "Fall For You" is absolutely no exception. There's really no making sense of this one, but watching a distortion of Catherine McCandless' head is pretty interesting. [Pitchfork]

    • Queens Of The Stone Age are getting ready to drop their first new album in over six years and they're pulling out all the stops to make sure ...Like Clockwork (out June 4) is a major success. They recently played a session for Belgian radio and, thanks to that, we now have a live version of the new track "Keep Your Eyes Peeled." With a heavy throbbing bass and Josh Homme's unmistakable voice, it's a powerful addition to the ablum's other previously released songs. [Stereogum]

    • Baltimore duo Ed Schrader's Music Beat now have a video for their song "Radio Eyes." Basically, it features the two band mates participating in what seems to be the creepiest study group ever. Watch the video below and see what you think. [Stereogum]
