Today's a big day for Ty Segall, that is if the legendary scuzz garage king can have big days anymore after his many releases, shows, and side projects. First of all his band Fuzz released a video that features the trio playing "Fuzz's Fourth Dream" at Burgerama in LA. The video starts with a little trickle of "Rhapsody in Blue" for whatever reason, before following them to the show. Next up Segall has a new track streaming - "Music For A Film 1" - which we did in collaboration with Chad and the Meatbodies for the Less Artists More Condos charity. A lot of people are calling it a huge surprise, but considering Jeff Mangum's relatively prolific solo touring last year, it seems almost logical that Neutral Milk Hotel would reunite after nearly 15 years apart. The band announced on their website that Mangum, Jeremy Barnes, Scott Spillane, and Julian Koster will play a handful of live dates toward the end of the year, with a portion of the proceeds going to Children of the Blue Sky and other charities.

Atoms for Peace debuted a new song called "Magic Beanz" yesterday - don't get the spelling wrong because "The Z is v important. I'd find u a link but I'm still in bedzzz" Thom tweeted. [Rolling Stone]

El-P and Killer Mike unveiled "Get It" from their upcoming collaborative project Run the Jewels - and it's an absolutely quick and dirty back and forth rap session. Their collaboration will be released for free via Fool's Gold in June. [Exclaim!]

Dan Deacon and friends hold their favorite special objects (sometimes pets, sometimes friends, sometimes scary) in this .gif-like series of portraits for his track "Konono Ripoff No. 1". It's a bit terrifying at times, eyes blinking back and forth while peoples special items range from vacuums to figurines to sports memorabilia. And of course - the video ends with Deacon himself, holding none other than his infamous crystal skull. [Stereogum]

Clams Casino delivers this beautiful dreamy backdrop to MF DOOM's heady raps in "Bookfiend" - which dropped this morning with no explanation on Clams soundcloud. The track is full of mummering shimmering beats, and MF DOOM doesn't even raise his voice once to make this track cohesive and beautiful. [Stereogum]

Braids have released "Amends" from their upcoming album on Arbutus. Like most of their work, the track is full of echoing vocals and quiet poppy beats - but the single also feels stretched out, while the use repettion the track still feels like far more than just one song. [Pitchfork]
