  • After all the speculation last month about a Postal Service reunion, it looks like the whole thing has been confirmed by an update earlier today to the band's website which revealed simply the image above with the band name and year. Ben Gibbard has been very clear that there is no likelihood of a new record coming out -- but it has been reported that Sub Pop is going to reissue Give Up on its 10th anniversary and Jimmy Tamborello and Gibbard will perform this year at Coachella. Not only is this good timing per the 10th anniversary of the collaboration's one and only album, but it comes on the heels of this past October marking the moment Give Up finally achieved gold status. • Beyonce can do no wrong. Destiny's Child reunion at the Super Bowl? And the Star-Spangled Banner at President Obama's Inauguration today? God Bless America. [pitchfork]

  • Moog is launching the new handmade Sub Phatty analog synth today, with an accompanying original song recorded by Flying Lotus with a prototype he received last year. The song, "Such A Square", appears in the Adam Fuchs animated video Moog Sub Phatty: New Machine for Living. Check out the clip below, featuring the "uniquely aggressive" voice of the Sub Phatty. • Canadian band Crystal Castles have released a video for their song "Sad Eyes". VHS-quality video of the band performing shot at hazy angles cut together with footage of white-masked people making out with each other, and many other uniquely bizarre and affecting images make for an altogether creepy but beautiful music video. Rob Hawkins and Marc Pannozzo direct. [Stereogum]
