Croatian rockers Punčke (translated to “girls” in Slovenian) declared a hiatus early last year, but have given fans one last EP before they go. The "goodbye" EP, as they're calling it, was written, recorded, and produced in just five days "in a small and isolated studio in the Slovenian village of Bistrica ob Sutli." ("It was our best 5 days ever," the band declared on their Facebook page.) A week later, vocalist and guitarist Lucia moved to Australia, putting an end to Punčke... for now, anyway.
The video was directed, produced, and edited by creative duo Ira Tomic and John Kardum. "This video was made quietly and will probably pass (under the radar), but it's actually loud in all that submarine silence," Kardum said in a press release. The band continued, "The song and the video tell the story of disappointment, perspective, will, going to the other end, the beginning again, but also the end." Perfectly put.
