Friendship is a bond that holds as the glue for many bands, but few reach as far back as Geowulf's mutual history. The Australian indie-pop duo have known each other since childhood. After spending so much time together in their coastal hometown, the two aprted ways as they lived abroad. Eventually they'd reconvene with their creative bonds still intact. The two are so much in sync that they were signed after performing their first show together.
With the single "Round and Round," from their upcoming album My Resignation (out Oct. 25 via [PIAS]), their musical compatability is on full display. Wavy reverb soaks every note of the shimmering melody, creating a daydream-like effect. It's a song that recalls physical and emotional sojourn, searching out in the depths for something to make sense of the vast world around you. Listen to and download the song above.
