This week's "Song of the Gay" were selected by KEXP DJs Larry Rose, Stas THEE Boss, Brit Hansen, and DJ Riz in honor of Pride. Join us on June 28th, 29th, and 30th as we team up with the Wildrose for GAYEXP Pride 2019 with live performances by Adra Boo, Mandate, Mirrorgloss, and Chanarah; DJ sets all day and evening long including sets by KEXP's own DJs Riz, Larry Rose and Tim; and of course, the infamous Booty Shaking Contest on Sunday! More info here.

As Your Heart Breaks celebrates their twentieth year as a band, they've released one of their finest releases yet: the queer concept album Drone Butch Blues, based on the writings of historic and contemporary GLBTQI authors all interwoven through the personal narrative of songwriter Clyde Petersen, award-winning Seattle-based artist.

Drone Butch Blues was produced by Karl Blau and engineered by Nicholas Wilbur at The Unknown in Anacortes, Washington, and features a star-studded line-up including Blau, Kelley Deal of the Breeders, Kimya Dawson, Dylan Carlson, Lori Goldston, and many others.
