English electronic duo Simian Mobile Disco are releasing their fifth album Murmurations next month and "Caught in a Wave" is the album's lead single. For the album, James Ford and Jas Shaw collaborated with London-based female collective Deep Throat Choir. "Listening to them moving their voices around a tone, altering the timbre, making chords, was like working with an incredible new synthesizer," says Shaw of the all-female choir. The song comes with a video by James Pearson-Howe and Kiani Del Valle that focuses on a mosh pit in a dark club and is the first in a series of three videos. Murmurations is out May 11 on Wichita.
