Jeff Rosenstock kicked of 2018 by surprise-releasing his third solo album POST- on New Year's Day without any prior promotion or fanfare. The follow-up to 2016's WORRY was not only a surprise but also released for free, with 10 percent of download donations going to Defend Puerto Rico, a charity assisting with disaster relief in Puerto Rico. Rosenstock spent 10 years fronting the ska-centric outfit called Bomb the Music Industry! up until 2012, when they broke up and Rosenstock started recording under his own name. "All This Useless Energy" is one of the more rousing tracks on the album and sounds like Wavves and Weezer had a baby. POST- is out now Polyvinyl.
