At the end of 2017, KEXP stumbled upon The Midnight Revolution at the Trans Musicales festival in Rennes, France. As only their 5th or 6th show, the band surprised and amazed the KEXP crew with their amazingly tight and beautiful set. Our Song of the Day, “Goodbye,” is the latest single from the French band.

The dark lyrical content of the song is displayed in the video for “Goodbye,” which sees singer Lys Cogui in various situations of suicide. The band is made up of Cogui on vox/synth as well as vocals, Cyril Catarsi on songwriting and guitar, Gaëtan Grandjean playing guitars, Guillaume Lehagre on bass, and drummer Matthieu Garreau. Watch the video for “Goodbye” below.
