Built To Spill have been beloved Boise hometown heroes for over thirty years now and the latest record from Dough Martsch & co., When the Wind Forgets Your Name, continues their legacy of high-quality hooky jangle and dreamy psych-rock. For their most recent in-studio, recorded over the summer, Martsch came in tow with his current three-piece lineup including Prism Bitch’s Teresa Esguerra on drums and Melanie Radford of Blood Lemon on bass.

Troy Nelson details the history of some of the tools Built To Spill uses to create their unique tone and Cheryl Waters chats with Martsch about how the new lineup has inspired him and affected the sound of their live shows. This performance features four songs - two from their latest, one from ‘97 and one from their 1993 debut Ultimate Alternative Wavers.

Recorded 07/22/2022.

  1. Gonna Lose
  2. I Would Hurt A Fly
  3. Fools Gold
  4. Three Years Ago Today
