Host Evie Stokes sits down again with jazz musician Kassa Overall. Kassa talks about his time in the jazz scenes between Seattle and New York and some of the great talents working today. This time he brings in “Sweet Surrender” by Marquis Hill and talks about the idea of “jazz having a moment” and how he interprets that idea. “Sweet Surrender” comes from Marquis Hill’s latest album, (Beautifulism) Sweet Surrender, out now on Black Unlimited Music Group.
