KEXP partners with CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services), a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization, to accept vehicle donations.

A CARS Vehicle Donation Representative, on KEXP's behalf, will schedule a pickup that's convenient for you, and provide you with confirmation of your donation.

How soon will KEXP receive funds from my contribution?
Vehicles are typically sold within 6 to 8 weeks of hand-off to CARS. Once sold, CARS will send KEXP a check for your donation within 5 days of their receiving the funds from the sales company.
Will I become a donor when I donate my vehicle?
Yes, your gift counts toward one year of KEXP donor benefits once KEXP receives a check for your donation. As noted previously, this typically occurs in 6 - 8 weeks. Our vehicle donation partner, CARS, will send an initial donor acknowledgement letter for your gift and we’ll follow up with an email acknowledgement and instructions for choosing a thank you gift if you are eligible to select one.
Does my donation qualify me for VIP Club donor benefits?
If your vehicle sells for $500 or more at auction, you will be added to the appropriate VIP Club, but you will need to register your e-mail address with the KEXP Donor Services Office at 206-520-5843 or donorservices@kexp.org to ensure that you are notified of VIP Club concerts.
Why haven’t I received an acknowledgment letter and/or my donor benefits yet?
Your car may not have sold yet. Most often it takes 6 to 8 weeks for a vehicle donation to be completed, but in some cases, it can take longer.
