For today's Song of the Day, Brooklyn-based DJ/producer Bad Colours teams up with Seatte's own Jarv Dee, recruiting former KEXP DJ and current Brooklynite Stas THEE Boss for a guest verse. The track's dancefloor-friendly groove belie the message behind the beat: "how the system is broken (not even joking)." This is not the first time the two have paired up -- back in February, we featured another of their collaborations which Bad Colours described as "dancey stuff with a message." We think "Black Skin" follows this tradition.
