Formed just a few years ago in Dundalk, Ireland, Just Mustard combine foreboding rhythms, mesmerizing guitar lines, and Katie Ball's girlish voice in the new single "Frank."
"I have crazy dreams, and always have done," she tells NME. "I love talking about them. I have a general mad time when I’m asleep. I just find it really interesting… a bit more interesting than being awake sometimes. I really like writing about dreams. Some mad stuff happens there…"
The song is visually captured in a stop-motion video. Ball told Fader Magazine, "We thought it would be interesting to use stop motion animation to emphasize the broken rhythms of the song. Every character and prop in the video and their interactions represents a different musical or thematic element of the song to us. We wrote and directed it together as a band and collaborated with filmmaker Tim Shearwood who shot and edited it."
