Join KEXP as we celebrate indigenous communities worldwide on Indigenous Peoples’ Day, Monday October 9th. With special programming all day from hosts including Kevin Sur and Tory J from KEXP’s Sounds of Survivance, along with special guests and features throughout the day. Indigenous Peoples’ Day on KEXP – Monday October 9th, 3AM to 10PM Pacific and on-demand after broadcast. This year's Indigenous People's Day design for KEXP was created by Cindy Chischilly. Cindy Chischilly is Diné (Navajo). She was born and raised in the high desert of Shonto, Arizona on Diné land (also known as the Navajo Nation). She is the co-founder of White Canyon Design, and works as a brand consultant, graphic designer, illustrator and educator. Cindy is community-driven, bringing awareness of Indigenous issues to the forefront of her work. She believes good design can change our world.
