I’m Eva Walker. I play in the rock ‘n’ roll band The Black Tones. I was born and raised here in Seattle, Washington, in a southern family of educators and music lovers. My Louisiana-bred mother and grandparents are a big influence on my music, work ethic, and manners. From producing my first concert at 16-years-old raising money for Hurricane Katrina victims, to performing on a 5-week national tour, I'm excited to contribute my experiences and continue to live and grow this musical journey! I believe in discovering, listening, and experiencing music as much as possible. I have a big love for Seattle music — from Jimi Hendrix to Jimmy James — and am a big fan of the classics, rediscoveries, and rare recordings. It excites me to keep learning and growing with the KEXP audience!
