We are thrilled to invite select artists from around the world to play live in the KEXP studios as part of our Best New International Band Contest of 2018. Thanks to our friends at Fisher & Phillips LLP, we are excited to offer a $1000 prize to the winning artist, to be selected and announced at the end of 2018.
Dublin, Ireland based band Fontaines DC are next to play live as part of the contest, Monday, May 14th at 9:30am PDT. Streaming live on kexp.org, and 90.3 FM in Seattle.

The following rules apply to the Best New International Band Contest of 2018:
Artists who are, or whose members are, foreign nationals living abroad are eligible to become contestants. Eligible artists will be selected by KEXP for participation in the contest.
Participating artists will be invited by KEXP to perform live in the KEXP studios.
Artists will not be required to pay any entry fee, but will be expected to pay all of their own costs associated with their in-studio performance, including travel and lodging.
Participating artists who perform in-studio during 2018 will be eligible for the prize, which is $1,000 provided by Fisher & Phillips LLP.
The winner will be selected and announced during January 2019 by a panel of KEXP curators designated by KEXP’s Chief Content Officer.
