Maya Hernandez is passionate about amplifying new and diverse voices in the music scene and creating community through self expression.
A resident of the Bay Area for the last five years, she has been immersed in the punk and indie scene, conducting artist interviews with new and emerging acts such as Fake Fruit, Buzzed Lightbeer, and RABBIT. Over the last year she has been a radio host for The Zone on Psyched Radio where she curates everything from punk, soul, and the inbetween. She is excited to learn and grow with this new role at KEXP.
