Slaughter Beach, Dog began in 2017 as a solo project for Jake Ewald of Modern Baseball, a place for the songs he felt didn’t fit in. But now that Modern Baseball has declared a hiatus, Slaughter Beach, Dog has become a full-fledged band featuring bassist Ian Farmer (Modern Baseball), guitarist Nick Harris (All Dogs) and drummer Zack Robbins (Superheaven).
After a year of rehearsing and recording, they’ve released two new singles to sample their forthcoming full-length, including “Good Ones.” Get a sneak-peek with today’s Song of the Day at their upcoming release Safe and Also No Fear, out on August 2nd via Lame-O Records.
