Toronto quartet Tallies make lush dream pop of an expert level despite only just releasing their debut album in January. The self-titled effort displays sharp songwriting and memorable melodies, proving their ascension is inevitable.

Our Song of the Day, “Eden,” comes in around halfway through the record and is full of diverse flourishes. The bass line is plucky and pronounced underneath the jangly guitar flourishes that create a lush soundscape for Sarah Cogan’s vocals to stretch and expand around.

Below, watch the video for Tallies closing track “Easy Enough,” directed by Christopher Mills.
