Ssion (pronounced Shun) is the multimedia project of Cody Critcheloe that focuses on queerness and pop culture. Consisting of music, videos, art and live performance, Critcheloe has been creating art under the name for over almost 20 years, with Ssion originating as a punk band when he lived in Kentucky. Today's song of the day, "Inherit," comes from Ssion's third studio record, O, released earlier this year. The slick dance track shows Critcheloe's penchant for and mastery of glossy art-pop. O is Critcheloe's first record in five years and is packed with features by Ariel Pink, MNDR, Jennifer Herrema, and Sky Ferreira.
