Roaming Herds of Buffalo - Winter Sun

Song of the Day
Hosted by John Richards
Today’s song, featured on The Morning Show with John Richards is “Winter Sun” by Roaming Herds of Buffalo from the 2018 self-released album The Bugbears.

Seattle's Roaming Herds of Buffalo stampede into 2018 with their fifth full-length, the self-released The Bugbears. Recorded at the famed Hall of Justice studio by Aaron Schroeder (Wimps, Dude York, Chastity Belt), the concept album follows a lost boy in the woods, pursued by the evil Bugbear itself. Despite the creepy context, the band retains their fun, upbeat sound with a fuzzed-out bass line as they remind listeners they're "still having fun / out in the sun." Check out the track, and watch a video for "Night Owl," another album track below, created by band member Neal Flaherty. Keep up with the band via their Facebook here.
