Clinton Fearon is the real deal, an all-killer no-filler Jamaican reggae legend. He built his first guitar himself, at the age of 10, out of a single slab of wood, after seeing a life changing show — the Skatalites live in Kingston. He’s been living in Seattle part time since the late '80s. He released an EP with his group The Defenders in 1989. Since then, with the Boogie Brown Band and as a solo artist, he’s put out a staggering 14 albums — culminating in his latest, Breaking News, available on the French label Baco Records.
