Upcoming Virtual Concert Schedule

With music festivals being canceled and venues closed during the coronavirus outbreak, fans are yearning for some live music while they self-quarantine. Thankfully, many artists are turning to the internet to continue to reach their fans. KEXP is collecting a calendar of upcoming live streaming video concerts. We encourage viewers to utilize any digital tip jars or links to purchase music and merchandise, as many of these performers are losing income by not being able to tour. Protect Live Music Fest

Taking place Friday, April 9th and Saturday, April 10th from 6:00p.m. to 9:00 p.m. ET, Consequence’s “Protect Live Music” livestream celebration will feature over 70 artists delivering exclusive performances and testimonials in celebration of independent music. Many of the artists featured have a unique connection to Consequence and our history, including previous Artists of the Month, participants of past offline events, and simply those responsible for some of Consequence’s favorite music over the years.

Galactic Federation of Musicians & Allied Workers

Last November, multi-genre artist and performer B. Dolan and his team of volunteers managed to pull of an amazing feat. They threw a virtual concert called #NetherRap on Twitch and in Minecraft that was watched by over 4,000 people and attended in-game by over 300, raising over $6k for artists who'd been unable to tour during the pandemic.

Following this success, the team sought out an opportunity to bring this incredible new experience to even more people and bands, and to do something truly impactful with this technology.
