There wasn't a shortage of great songs in 2008. Great albums might have been harder to come by, as the concept and relevance of the album evolves, that's okay, as long as there are great songs. Some of my favorite albums of 2008 are listed here. In the words of another Craig, Craig Finn of The Hold Steady, "And the sing-along songs will be our scriptures. We gotta stay positive."
