This Brooklyn band’s fourth album of expansive folk-pop is a little more raw and aggressive than previous releases, giving their latest batch of complex, shape-shifting songs a bit more of a rock edge at times while still providing plenty of gorgeous sonic textures and jaw-dropping moments of melodic beauty with an intricate swirl of guitars, piano, synths, prominent drums and warm harmonies along with occasional horns, strings, woodwinds and more. 8/31/2012
