This Boston duo debuts with a promising album of catchy, smartly crafted folk-pop, combining acoustic and electric guitars, assorted other stringed instruments, occasional piano and accordion, a variety of unusual percussion and lots of hand claps, nasal vocals and clever, evocative lyrics for a raw, vibrant sound reminiscent of Deer Tick crossed with both Dylanesque folk and Vampire Weekend indie-pop. 12/19/2011
