The fourth album from the Berlin-based Apparat (aka Sascha Ring) finds him continuing to move away from his earlier more abstract electronic sound in favor of a more song-oriented approach that focuses on atmospheric, deeply emotive electro-pop ballads that are beautifully textured with lush orchestration, ambient electronics, melancholy vocals and some gorgeous melodies. 9/16/2011
