While this large Staten Island band’s 3rd album of instrumentals is a little heavier and darker than their first two releases, it’s another excellent set blending elements of Afro-beat, Ethiopian funk, ‘70s R&B, psych-rock, soul-jazz and more, highlighted by tight, funky rhythms, ominous keyboards and some wicked horn riffs. 7/23/2010
