- (Thirty Tigers)
Bobby Bare Jr.’s 6th album (and first in four years) is not only one of the most well-rounded displays of his many talents, it’s also one of the best recordings he’s made to date, featuring an impressive balance of dark and light, pathos and humor, acoustic-oriented ballads and aggressive rockers, clever lyrics and catchy pop melodies, country heartache and rock ‘n’ roll fun. Best of all, there’s not a weak song in the bunch. 7/23/2010
