The first solo album in 6 years from the former vocalist/guitarist for Seattle’s Carissa’s Wierd is a first-rate set of intimate, spare-sounding folk-pop, with most songs featuring just S (aka Jenn Ghetto) accompanying herself on guitar (though two of her former Carissa’s Wierd bandmates join her on album opener “Wait”). Ghetto is a fine guitarist, and her agile finger-picking along with her own layered harmonies flesh out her devastatingly intimate songs. 4/30/2010
