This New York band’s 3rd album is their most adventurous and accomplished set to date, seamlessly blending hip hop, dancehall, electronics, rock and reggae with a dizzying variety of styles from around the globe. While Balkan brass band music still plays a major role in the group’s sound (along with other East European and Middle Eastern styles), they’re now also incorporating everything from bluesy guitar and Latin rhythms to Moroccan gnawa music. 4/2/2010
