Lotus Plaza is the solo project of Deerhunter guitarist Lockett Pundt, and his 1st Lotus Plaza album offers up a sound similar to Deerhunter band mate Bradford Cox’s side-project The Atlas Sound (not to mention Deerhunter itself), with haunting ‘50s-early ‘60s pop melodies partially submerged under dense layers of spacey, ethereal shoegazerish haze. 3/4/2009
