The Radiohead frontman steps out for an adventurous album of experimental electro-pop. Glitchy beats and haunting textures provide the accompaniment while Yorke’s vocals are simply sublime, ranging from a ghostly moan to eerie falsetto on often breathtakingly beautiful songs that evoke intense emotion with subtly political lyrics veering between a deep uneasiness and utter desolation. 7/7/2006
