Solo album from this member of Atlanta hip hop group Goodie Mob shows a stronger soul bent than other recent albums from the Dungeon Family crew, while still dazzling with the Dungeon Family hallmarks of stylistic versatility, irresistible P-Funk-influenced grooves and pride in flying his freak flag high. Cee-lo's a fine singer with a delivery containing echoes of Al Green on top of being a distinctive rapper who moves easily from one to the other. 4/15/2002
