- (Ubiquity)
While this LA band’s debut full-length focused on recreating some of the ‘70s funk breaks that have been heavily sampled through the years by hip hop artists, they’ve come up with a stellar batch of their own originals for their second album, a potent blast of raw, gritty funk (along with a knockout old-school hip hop jam) that sounds like it belongs alongside the classic funk they previously revived. 10/18/2005
